PRODEVAL established its first branch in Genoa, Italy, in 2018. Led by Luca Barbato, Managing Director, Prodeval Italia has established itself as a major market player in an area strongly committed to the biogas sector.

"We strongly believe in the Italian market, which is why we set up an operational office in Genoa, investing the necessary resources to develop this important market," said Sébastien Paolozzi.

The national energy strategy in Italy from 2018 is indeed favorable to the development of the biomethane sector.

The European Commission has approved the implementation of an aid scheme to support biomethane and biofuel production in Italy to meet European energy and climate change targets.

The program will encourage producers to produce biofuels and biomethane from manure and other agricultural residues and also to use them to fuel their agricultural vehicles, enabling the country to become the third-largest producer of biomethane in Europe.

The creation of PRODEVAL Italia allows us to have technicians present throughout the country to respond effectively to our customers' needs.


Missions

Project operations and execution:

  • Assign and schedule tasks for project management, engineering and production follow-up, delivery, construction, and commissioning phases of the sites. 
  • Report to the country managing director.
  • Manage project management team and site management team. 
  • Analyze and improve existing organizational processes and workflows and create new ones when required.
  • Ensure integration of all project activities, especially project management, construction, and commissioning.
  • Support the Managing Director in building alliances and partnerships with other organizations (vendor selection, technical integration of equipment, audits, technical and economical reviews, and problem resolution).
  • Manage and resolve technical problems and customer conflicts. ·
  • Manage budget and expenses related to Operation Services.
  • Lead profit center performance.

Team leadership :

  • Hire, train, and coach staff, and oversee daily activities.
  • Onboard new employees, conveying and promoting the company’s culture.
  • Manage team performance: set up SMART objectives, follow the team’s KPI, and conduct regular status/update meetings.

Subsidiary development :

  • Provide accurate and timely reports
  • Support technical sales development (RFQ analyses, validate specs, review of non-standard quotes)
  • Participate in technology and competitor watch for territory.

Profile

Full-time Based in Piacenza

You will be traveling through Italy

QUALIFICATIONS :

An Engineering degree is required.

Experience as a services manager in the mechanical or electrical industry.

Ability to communicate orally and in writing through contracts.

Strong teamwork, ability to instruct and motivate others
