PRODEVAL, headquartered in France, is an established international company specialized in designing and manufacturing Biogas upgrading equipment.

Our products are used in converting biogas into biomethane, which creates a 100% renewable energy that can be used to replace reliance on fossil fuels. We are in the process of expanding into North America and are searching for an experienced project manager to join our growing team in the United States.

We operate in 4 interdependent industrial fields: biogas purification, green mobility ( Bio-LNG), CO2 liquefaction, and after-sales service (maintenance, training, etc.).


Missions

You will directly report to the country manager

Your scope : US and Canadian subsidiarie

The V.I.E. Financial Controller will be responsible for:

Mission 1: Managing all finance, accounting and tax operations

  • Monitor daily accounting and finance operations and looks for ways to improve efficiency and eliminate non-value-added activities : general accounting, customer invoices inssuance, supplier invoices booking and payment, bank reconciliation…
  • Manage customer credit and cash collection
  • Organize with Group treasury implementation of bank guarantees for customer projects
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Develop and document business processes (in coordination with Group processes/procedures) and accounting policies to maintain and streghthen internal controls
  • Key contributor during ERP implementation

Mission 2 : Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements

  • Monitor the monthly and yearly closing process, in compliance with Group calendar and closing process
  • Fully own the subsidiaries financial statements
  • Lead the annual financial audit
  • Report to Group consolidation using the Group consolidation tool (accounts and intercos transactions)

Mission 3 : Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts

  • Lead and monitor the budgeting process, in compliance with Group calendar and budgeting process
  • Provide timely and insightful reporting about variances versus budget
  • Keep up the cost controlling system of the company
  • Prepare presentations

Profil recherché

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance, Audit or Management Controlling
  • A previous experience in Management Controlling would be appreciated

Language skills:

  • Fluent in English (B2-C1)

 

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated profile to integrate a great challenging environment within a young and dynamic team
